Hikvision Network Dome Camera

A Hikvision dome camera can easily be connected to your network with a UTP cable. Power can then be supplied via a separate adapter. If you have a PoE switch, a UTP cable is sufficient. It's even easier to run a UTP cable from the NVR (network video recorder) to each camera. Power is then supplied via the UTP cable; this is also called Power over Ethernet (PoE). All current Hikvision cameras are equipped with PoE but can also be powered separately via an adapter.
