The GS-133 detector is used to indicate leaking of explosive gases (natural gas, methan, propane, butane). The detector detects two levels of gas concentration, responding with 2 different output reactions.
The mains-powered detector indicates a gas leakage optically, and acoustically.
Sensitivity GS-133
Methane
Propane
Iso-butane
First level
10 ± 3% LEL (0.44% vol)
18 ± 3% LEL (0.30% vol)
23 ± 3 % LEL (0.30% vol)
Second level
18 ± 3% LEL (0.80% vol)
30 ± 3% LEL (0.50% vol)
40 ± 3 % LEL (0.50% vol)
LEL = Lower Explosive Limit (100%) according to IEC 60079-20-1: for Methane is 4.4% volume concentration for propane 1.7% vol, for iso-butane 1.3% volume, calibrated in the production of iso-butane
