Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 Camera Module

The camera module of the Hikvision modular intercom ensures that everything is perfectly in view. Thanks to the 2MP camera with WDR, backlighting is no problem for this camera. Thanks to the opening angle of 180° there is a good overview of the situation.

The modular intercom only has one network connection that can be powered via PoE. All added modules (up to a max of 8) are powered via the camera module. This provides additional ease of installation.

Where do I request a password-reset xml-file?
Question by: Frank on Jan 18, 2021, 12:19 PM
Mail the following information to resets@pg-securitysystems.nl:
(WITHOUT this data a password recovery is impossible!)

- The full serial number from SADP (as text);
- A photo of the label on the camera and / or recorder;
- Your name / phone number;
- The export file from SADP (or the start time with the old firmware).

I get a 'password invalid' after every reboot/factory reset. The provided reset-XML does not work.
What can be wrong?
Question by: Frank on Jan 18, 2021, 12:08 PM
Please make sure you use the right protocol:

>>What if the password reset doesn't work?
* make sure to execute (right mouse button on the SADP icon, option “run as admin”);
* has the camera, recorder or intercom been switched off in the meantime? then the device has a new start time and the reset is invalid. You will then need to request a new reset;
* I get “device rejected” what is the problem? you are probably connected via a WiFi connection, try the reset again via the wired connection.

The reset-XML only works ONCE!

Hi,

Is it possible to use the video feed from this module as part of my existing surveillance system, while still able to operate as a door bell? I want to avoid having to place two camera's in the same spot (i.e. one for the workstation, and one for permanent surveillance).

Thx!
Martin.
Question by: Maarten Van Damme on Apr 13, 2020, 12:59 PM
No, it is not possible to use this camera for permanent surveillance.
