Can i program a gsm nummer to a button?
Question by: Roland on Aug 14, 2026, 1:09 PM
Each button is configured to call a Room No. / SIP number in the main door station (typically the DS-KD8003-IME1). Can that SIP number be a GSM/mobile number?
Yes, if you have a SIP/telephone gateway or SIP service that connects to the GSM network. The Hikvision system itself doesn't contain a GSM modem/SIM card. The documentation describes the setup as linking Room No. → SIP number, and call priority can include a Telephone Gateway.

So the architecture would be something like:
DS-KD-KK button → DS-KD8003 → SIP → GSM/SIP gateway → mobile phone

For example, pressing button 1 could ultimately ring +33 6 xx xx xx xx, provided your SIP/GSM gateway is configured to route that call.
