Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1/S Video Intercom Module Door Station Stainless steel with bell push

The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 is a camera module with a Full HD 2 megapixel 180 degree fisheye lens for use in the Hikvision second generation IP intercom system. In the flexible IP video intercom system an outdoor station can be used with only the camera module and up to 8 additional modules such as a keypad module, a card reader module, an indication module and/or a 6-button apartment module. The modules have to be built in or assembled with the separately available housings.

The system works with one or more intercom within monitor(s). An audio/video call with push notifications via the Hikvision smartphone app is also possible.

Features
The camera has a 2 megapixel Full HD image sensor with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a very wide horizontal field of view of 180 degrees. Because of the Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technique, the camera can handle backlight very well. The camera is equipped with a light-sensitive image sensor so that a good color image is obtained even in low-light conditions. For dark conditions, the camera module is equipped with infrared LED light.

The camera module must be combined with one or more matching Hikvision intercom within monitors. A maximum of 6 monitors per push button can be used.

The camera module has a push button and a nameplate. The camera module has an omni-directional microphone and 85dB loudspeaker for a clear audio/video conversation. The camera module can be connected to a maximum of 2 electric locks to remotely unlock a door and/or control an electric fence, for example. The camera module has two alarm inputs for magnetic contacts and two inputs for exit buttons. The separate modules (up to 8) are connected to the camera module and also powered by the camera module.

Where do I request a password-reset xml-file?
Question by: Frank on Jan 18, 2021, 12:19 PM
Mail the following information to resets@pg-securitysystems.nl:
(WITHOUT this data a password recovery is impossible!)

- The full serial number from SADP (as text);
- A photo of the label on the camera and / or recorder;
- Your name / phone number;
- The export file from SADP (or the start time with the old firmware).

I get a 'password invalid' after every reboot/factory reset. The provided reset-XML does not work.
What can be wrong?
Question by: Frank on Jan 18, 2021, 12:08 PM
Please make sure you use the right protocol:

>>What if the password reset doesn't work?
* make sure to execute (right mouse button on the SADP icon, option “run as admin”);
* has the camera, recorder or intercom been switched off in the meantime? then the device has a new start time and the reset is invalid. You will then need to request a new reset;
* I get “device rejected” what is the problem? you are probably connected via a WiFi connection, try the reset again via the wired connection.

The reset-XML only works ONCE!

Hi,

Is it possible to use the video feed from this module as part of my existing surveillance system, while still able to operate as a door bell? I want to avoid having to place two camera's in the same spot (i.e. one for the workstation, and one for permanent surveillance).

Thx!
Martin.
Question by: Maarten Van Damme on Apr 13, 2020, 12:59 PM
No, it is not possible to use this camera for permanent surveillance.
