Jablotron JA-81F wireless keypad

This panel is used for wireless operation and control of the OASiS series system. It has a built-in reader for access with key-tags. The control panel is in bi-directional radio link with the control panel using the OASiS protocol.

The status of the control panel and the doors and windows (open) is indicated on a LCD display and the LEDs. The control unit has two function keys for quick arming of the partial-arming (A and B). The control panel also offers a wired input for the panel. This keypad panel has connectors for additional sensors - such as a magnetic contact on the door.

The texts on the front panel can be changed via a PC with the Olink software (the keypad panel must be connected via a cable to the bus of the panel). Each panel in the system can have its own text. The control unit switches off after 10 seconds in the sleep mode to conserve battery power. This mode is undone by pressing any key or by opening the lid. The idle mode can be suppressed by connecting it to a network adapter.

Note:
The control panel measures the strength of the signal transmitted by the keypad. It is impossible to measure the signal strength received by the keypad from the control panel. If the keypad has lost communication with the control panel (e.g. if the control panel is damaged) it would display COMM ERROR a communication error. If you re-power a control panel, which previously worked with a keypad, and the keypad does not function, then we recommend disconnecting the keypad batteries for one minute.
