JA-180W wireless PIR and MW combined detector

The detector is used for human motion detection in the interior of a building. Thanks to the combination of motion and microwave detection, the detector is highly resistant to false alarms. The detector is used for interiors with the increased risk of false alarms caused, for example, by air flow, curtain movements by draughts or by other sources of false alarm.

When motion is sensed by the PIR detector, the MW detector is activated to confirm the triggering of the PIR. Only after receiving a confirmed alarm signal from the MW unit , the detector sends an alarm report to the control panel.

The detector guards the space like a traditional PIR in the case of motion detection, the microwave section is started to verify the movement. Motion confirmed by the microwave element is then forwarded to the control panel and the alarm is triggered. Detector setting is very simple and the PIR and the microwave functions may be tested separately in test mode.

The detection characteristic may be optimised by using alternative lenses JS-7904 LONG HALLWAY, JS 7906 PET or JS-7901 CURTAIN.

It is addressable and occupies one position in the alarm.
