Conas ELSTR08-NO/NC Electric Strike, Fail-Safe or Fail Secure

The ELSTR08 electronic strike is suitable for controlled door opening. This strike is almost always connected to an access control or intercom system. This strike is only suitable for doors with a 'latch'. If the door also has a 'deadbolt', allowing the door to be locked, the ELSTR10 series is a suitable model. 

This strike is widely applicable because the function of the electronic strike can be modified. For example, it is possible to use this strike with a fail-secure principle and convert it to a fail-safe principle with a minor hardware modification. This makes this electronic strike widely applicable and suitable for almost any standard European door.
