An electric door opener with NO (Normally Open) indication - also called Fail-Safe - is voltage-free unlocked . The moment 12V power is connected to the electric opener, the electric strike will switch to "lock".
N.C. / FAIL-SECURE
An electric door opener with N.C. (Normally Closed) indication - also called Fail-Secure - is voltage-free locked. The moment 12V power is connected to the electric opener, the electric strike will open.
